Meet Our Team

As the owner and principle designer Ted brings over 25 years of experience in lighting and lighting control systems.  He holds a BFA from UNCSA's school of Design and Production and a Graduate Certificate in Architectural Lighting from The University of Colorado.  While his background is in theatrical lighting, over the last 25 years he has had the privilege of working in many facets of the lighting industry, from theater and dance to film and broadcast to architectural.  A member of the IES and IALD, he also sits on the performance lighting standards technical committee.  Among other certifications he holds the NCQLP LC designation and CLCP from NALMCO.  On the entertainment side he is ETCP certified as an entertainment electrician and theatrical rigger.  This wide range of experience enables him to design customized lighting and control solutions that elevate your environment and enhance your project.
